About Vienna

Vienna (Wien) is the cultural capital of Austria. Considered the most liveable city worldwide by Mercer’s Quality of Living ranking, it is widely viewed as a very safe city with an excellent public transportation network: metro, trams, buses. With a population of over 1.8 million, Vienna is a moderately priced city, uses the Euro currency, and German is the primary language. Vienna is one of the most popular cities for young people, famous for its architecture (Haashaus, UNO City), with it’s castles, Ring Boulevard, medieval alleys and baroque squares, as well as it’s Coffee houses, wine taverns, and Viennese cuisine.
